This New York Comic-Con was great! We met a whole lot of folks. Sold copies of Cartoon Lagoon and other merch. I hope everyone who picked up Cartoon Lagoon likes the show and tells their friends about us!
Though I was at the table most of the weekend I did manage to get a couple of fun bits of swag. A new Sebei shirt, a TARDIS mug, an Avengers T-Shirt, some books my friends released including Zack Giallongo’s Broxo, Raina Telgemeier’s Drama, and Ron Wimberly’s Prince of Cats.
One awesome highlight was meeting Chris Hardwick from the Nerdist. He’s one of my favorite people out there in entertainment today. He was super nice and I gave him a Zombie Dookie-Poo and Lagoon DVD because I know he’s a huge zombie and MSK3 fan!
I wish I had more time on the floor so see more folks and catch up, but it was a doozy of a crowd out there.
Now its rest and get back to work on the next show!
Just watched the mid-season finale of Doctor Who. #FEELINGS
Here are a couple of pics I snapped while they were shooting this episode in New York this past April. Damn, I had no idea how heavy those scenes were…KUDOS guys. Ponds you will be missed.
So I was in Central Park for lunch and to get pics of the spring scenery only to discover they are shooting Doctor Who!!! Needless to say it became a loooooooong lunch and I snapped away at the craziness of a nyc film shoot. It was pretty awesome to see the cast just feet away from me.
I had chance to talk to Matt Smith but promptly freaked out and did nothing but goofily smile. FAIL. Aw well….
ETC: I ended up in one of Arthur Darvill’s pics. LOL! Just right of Steven Moffet!
